STR – Laser welding workstations with power 1-3 kW

STR is a premium Chinese manufacturer specializing in laser welding. STR lasers are the only ones besides IPG Lightweld whose technology is developed in-house from start to finish, allowing for a reliable device with tightly integrated components. At the heart of STR laser welding machines is a resonator with the lowest heat loss in the industry. The best-in-class K-20 welding gun is connected to the resonator using a unique composite cable that contains both gas, signal and light guide. A compact heat pump is used for continuous cooling. The device is controlled through a clear and simple user interface and does not rely on a touch screen. All STR devices have physical buttons to control all necessary functions. The devices are also equipped with inputs for all safety systems required in Europe. 

Compared to a water-cooled laser welding machine, its size is about 1/4; weight is about 1/3; power consumption is 1/2. The machine body is made of durable composite materials. Compared to conventional welding machines, novice welders do not need much time to learn the machine, just a few hours are enough to easily start using the machine. The machine has preset welding parameters for 4 most common material types (aluminum, zinc sheet, stainless steel, carbon steel) and the parameters can be quickly switched to thickness. This allows a novice welder to start working quickly and achieve a high-quality result.
